The 2024 Paris Olympics will be a hot topic on the global TV schedule, with top athletes competing in a variety of sports. But the Olympics will also feature big stars. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will be in the lineup for the glamorous Evil The opening ceremony of the Olympics saw Celine Dion perform for the first time since being diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, plus a host of other celebrities in attendance at the highly anticipated event, including Snoop Dogg and Christopher Meloni, who hangs out with other A-listers. You'd be a fly on the wall.
meanwhile Law & Order: SVU Filming has begun. Law & Order: Organized Crime The star isn't even on the set of the show yet. He's in Paris! That's right, Meloni is overseas for the Olympics and is soaking up every moment of it. The actor took to Instagram to share his Paris adventures so far, including photos with Snoop Dogg, Alan Cumming, and Elizabeth Banks.
Meloni seems to be enjoying every moment of the trip. The Olympics have only just begun, and I wish more than ever that I was famous or rich enough to hop on a plane to Paris, mingle with all the celebrities in attendance, and watch the best athletes in the world compete for medals. Sports truly brings people together, and it's always fun to see famous people mingling with unlikely famous people.
I wouldn't be surprised if Christopher Meloni shares more photos in the coming days, and we'll see a lot of A-listers posting piles of photos like him. It's interesting to see whether they're there to support their country or to cover the Olympics (as Snoop Dogg, Kelly Clarkson, Jimmy Fallon, etc. have done). I'm also curious how many of them are in Tahiti covering surfing with Colin Jost, as surfing seems like a once-in-a-lifetime event and vacation.
There's a lot more to look forward to at the Olympics than just catching up with celebrities, and a lot more than just Beyoncé introducing Team USA at the Opening Ceremony. The nearly 600 athletes representing the country, from veterans to rookies, are ready to compete and bring home medals. We can't wait to see them in action.
Meanwhile, Christopher Meloni is having a great time in Paris and preparing for the fifth season. Law & Order: Organized Crimeis coming soon to Peacock subscribers. Not much has been revealed about the upcoming season yet, but being an exclusive means the possibilities are endless. It's sure to be one that fans won't want to miss, and it'll definitely be worth the wait.
While you wait, follow Meloni's Olympic adventures on social media and watch the games on NBC and Peacock.
