Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump traveled to north Georgia on Saturday for a campaign rally to turn out voters.
Last week was Super Tuesday, and tonight's primaries in Georgia, Hawaii, Mississippi, and Washington state could see President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump win the presidential nomination. There are 161 delegates in contention as voters head to the polls on Tuesday.
Biden spoke at Atlanta's Pullman Yard and covered the same themes as his State of the Union address days earlier.
“It's no exaggeration to suggest that our freedoms are literally on the ballot this November,” Biden said.
At a rally from the Forum Center in Rome, Trump criticized Biden's immigration policies during a speech following the death of nursing student Laken Riley on the University of Georgia campus.
The former president also touched on another big Georgia headline: the Fulton County grand jury indictment in the election interference case.
“They were contesting a corrupt election, or at least a corrupt election in their view,” Trump said.
