Rich Paul is responding to rumors that he and Adele are getting married.
The Klutch Sports Group CEO, 41, told Gayle King during an appearance on the show. CBS Morning On Monday, the 35-year-old singer said it was “amazing,” adding, “I think she would agree that we definitely helped each other out.”
“We're in a good space. We're happy,” he continued. “She's wonderful.”
“We had a great relationship,” Paul said, adding that he didn't go into details because he's “not the type” to make his private life public.

“This is not for the media. It's not for the paparazzi. It's for us,” he explained.
Dr. King then tried to tease out rumors that the two were now married, asking Paul, “Should I say 'Hello, Mrs. Paul' when I meet her?” to which he replied: . ” he laughed.
Paul and Adele went public with their relationship in July 2021, when they were spotted courtside together at Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
A source confirmed to PEOPLE at the time that Adele had been dating Paul for “a few months.”
However, the marriage rumors started last month when Adele referred to Paul as her “husband” during a conversation with a fan who asked the “Hello” singer to marry her while in Las Vegas.
“You can't marry me. I'm straight, my love, and my husband is here tonight,” Adele told female viewers in a video posted to TikTok.

Married or not, Adele and Paul are enjoying life together. “I’m happy in all aspects of my life,” the sports agent exclusively told PEOPLE this week while promoting his new book. Lucky Me: A Memoir That Changes the Odds. “I've always been someone who never lets things get to me.”
“I built this wall at a young age to have the understanding to move on and understand that she wasn't there,” he said. “It was like my mom wasn't coming home,” he recalls, “and that was one of the hardest things for me to relive and write about.”
Paul said he feels Adele, whom he has been dating for more than two years, is deeply connected to his emotions and childhood trauma. She was “very emotional,” he said of her reaction to his book. [for her]”
Adele has previously spoken about her difficult childhood. She grew up in London, splitting her time between Tottenham and Brixton, and lost her grandfather to cancer when she was 10 years old. Her late father Mark Evans was absent from her life for years, but only came back when the singer became famous.
“I wanted to go to see him in Wales and play his 'To Be Loved.' My main goal in life is to love and be loved,” Adele said in 2021. Speaking to Oprah Winfrey, she recalled meeting her father before he passed away. She said, “I wanted to go back to my dad and say, 'It's your fault I haven't done it yet.' Because of him, I never knew I was in a loving relationship with someone.” I didn’t fully understand what it meant.”
