The Recording Academy promoted adam ross Appointed Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships and Business Development. Ross will be responsible for expanding his Academy of Recording's global footprint through the negotiation and development of integrated partnership programs with both globally recognized brands and local sponsors.
Mr. Ross previously served as the Academy's senior vice president of partnerships and business development. In his new role, Mr. Ross will create new IP and build the business around his existing IP as a way to create new global revenue opportunities for the Academy. Ross also records the Academy's Grammy Awards season where he develops programs for his sponsors and creates strategic plans and sales strategies to develop new business and revenue opportunities.
Mr Ross' promotion is part of the Academy's accelerated global ambitions. This academy, founded in 1957 as the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, has increasingly embraced a global worldview. Two of its executives, Harvey Mason Jr.and Panos A. Panay, which has Grammy Global Ventures as part of its official title. Mason is CEO of the Recording Academy, MusiCares, and Grammy Global Ventures. Panos is president of the Recording Academy and GRAMMY Global Ventures.

Prior to joining the Academy in 2019, Ross served as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for the Council of Fashion Designers of America. She also worked at Condé Nast for seven years where she was responsible for developing custom her programs for luxury advertising partners.
