It may be hard to imagine choosing an environmentally wasteful mode of transportation like a private jet as your first destination. What is even more difficult to accept is the extremely short flight time. Outside the ring, Floyd Mayweather is known for his lavish lifestyle and great wealth. The retired professional boxer holds the record for the shortest private jet flight, landing in Las Vegas and flying for just 10 minutes.
As mentioned earlier, Travis Scott has a similar habit. In addition to his frequent travels, he also earned the title of having the shortest average flight distance. The distance per flight is just over 7 miles for him, which is the equivalent of 10 minutes for him by car. Scott's partner and mother of his two children, Kylie Jenner, also faced criticism for the short 17-minute flight from Van Nuys, Los Angeles to Camarillo.
Other notable short flights include rapper Drake, who was reportedly involved in an 18-minute flight from Hamilton, Ont., to Toronto. However, Drake claimed that he was not on board at the time and that the pilot made the logistics decision. According to the Guardian, Kenny Chesney flew for just 20 minutes between Akron and Pittsburgh, and Mark Wahlberg flew for 23 minutes in Ireland. Even if some of these flights serve a practical purpose, such as re-parking aircraft, it highlights a controversial disregard for environmental protection.
