Industry leader Greg Roche joins Distalmotion as CEO
LAUSANNE, Switzerland, Dec. 7, 2023 (Globe Newswire) — Distalmotion, a pioneer in new on-demand robotics, has hired medical device industry leader Greg Roche as CEO. If approved by shareholders, Roche will also join the company's board of directors. In his role, Mr. Roche will lead Distalmotion's Dexter US and EU expansion efforts.® Surgical Robotics provides experienced insight and guidance for the next stage of your company's growth strategy.
Roche joins Distalmotion with more than 20 years of commercial and operational experience in the medtech industry, bringing a wealth of expertise across laparoscopic surgery, endoscopic visualization, and surgical robotics.
Most recently, Roche served as CEO of Avaterra Medical, where he furthered his leadership and experience in soft tissue robotics. Previously, he served as Global President of Robotics and Technology for Zimmer Biomet, where he led the successful global launch of ROSA.® The company achieved above-market growth in part because it developed the Robotic Knee System and developed an innovative business model tailored to meet the unique demands of ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs). Starting in the early 2000s, Roche held multiple U.S. commercial and leadership roles across Stryker. Roche is in a distinct position to bring a wealth of commercial and marketing experience from each of these roles to his Distalmotion.
