Salman Khan has received multiple threats from gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Abu Salem. Recently, two unidentified persons opened fire in front of his home in Mumbai. These threats are said to be related to personal issues.

Another Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, is also under threat from the underworld. SRK admitted in his previous interview that he used to receive calls from underworld gangsters and although he never feared for his life, he feared for the lives of his wife and children. Film director Sanjay Gupta said SRK refused to surrender to the Mumbai underworld.
