KDAF (DALLAS) — Taylor Swift is officially America's most influential celebrity, holding the record for the most Google searches per month with 4.5 million searches, according to a new study.
The digital marketing experts at Authority Hacker analyzed the top 50 most followed accounts on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. A total of 90 celebrities were analyzed across each platform and by monthly Google searches.
“Swift has emerged as one of the top five most searched celebrities in each state, earning up to $625,700 per sponsored post if she can monetize her audience of more than 274 million followers on Instagram. It's also been revealed that she can make a lot of money. She's influential. It's surprising to see this monthly number increase as she continues to make headlines with her new romance with NFL star Travis Kelce. “This is not the case,” the study said.
Elon Musk is America's second most influential celebrity, with an average of 2.8 million Google searches per month across the United States. The complete list is below.
