Three celebrities have opened bars and restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip. At Caesars Palace, Chef Bobby Flay celebrates all things French with his fries at Brasserie B. Chef Michael Mina will debut his new Mediterranean restaurant at Mandalay Her Bay on January 16th. Also, Blake Shelton opened the doors to his expansive country music bar, Ole His Red.
Country Star's Las Vegas Strip Honky Tonk is now open. The four-story country bar plays country music nightly, combines a dance floor with seating for lunch through late night dining, and boasts a rooftop with perhaps the best views in the city. Ole Red is located in a brand new building on Las Vegas Boulevard, right in front of the Horseshoe Casino. Each of the four floors offers a unique experience, with the stage in the center of the first floor and the second floor overlooking the stage and a 38-foot-tall LED screen behind it. The third floor has two balconies, one above the Grand Bazaar shops and one facing the Bellagio fountains. The fourth-floor rooftop offers a VIP experience with a unique menu, semi-private seating, and panoramic views from Mandalay Bay at the southern end of the Strip to the Mirage at the northern end.
The menu includes items from Ole Red's locations in Tennessee, Florida, and Shelton's hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. And over the course of several months, Chef Mark Boulle developed 17 more Las Vegas-specific dishes, including loaded tater tots, shrimp corn dogs, and blackberry crispy chicken sliders. Ole Red can seat approximately 670 people, or he has standing room for over 1,100 people. And its calendar is already full with 2-4 bands and DJs scheduled to perform every night. This is an exciting opening for his fans of country music in Las Vegas, who don't have a plethora of options other than Stoney's Rockin' His Country in Town Square. Shelton's Ole Red goes all-in on the country theme, with a bar straight out of Nashville, a country music lineup, and a venue as glamorous as any nightclub on the Strip. However, it also has a dance floor for line dancing and dancing. Boot stomping. Ole Red (3627 Las Vegas Boulevard) is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight.
Award-winning chef Bobby Flay now serves brunch, lunch and dinner at Brasserie B, a French restaurant located at Caesars Palace. Here, Flay focuses on seafood and fries. “One of the things that makes people smile about a good brasserie is primarily the fries,” Flay told People in May. “I'm basically going to dedicate an entire section of my kitchen to making Parisian fries the classic way, because it literally takes two days to make them from scratch.”
The menu includes options like grilled lobster with roasted garlic and lemon butter and ribeye with a spicy-sweet glaze and chili butter, both served with fries. The brunch menu features dishes such as eggs royale and eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and lemon chive hollandaise. Brasserie B by Bobby Flay (3570 Las Vegas Boulevard) is located next to Amalfi by Bobby Flay and Montecristo Cigar Bar at Caesars Palace. Open for brunch from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
