Stars will be appearing this weekend in Indianapolis, where this year's NBA All-Star event will be held. Some celebrities even climb into the hardwood forest to get in on the basketball action themselves.
The 2024 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will be held Friday night at Lucas Oil Stadium, hosting the first event of the annual All-Star festivities. The celebrity game has been a regular feature of NBA All-Star Weekend since 2003.
This year, ESPN analysts will lead each team. Stephen A. Smith will coach one team and Shannon Sharpe will lead the other team.
Here's everything you need to know heading into the 2024 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, including the rosters for both teams.

Only one member of Team Shannon has participated in the former NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Rapper Anuel AA. He competed in his 2022 event in Cleveland.
But Micah Parsons could be Team Shannon's most notable player.
The 24-year-old, a three-year NFL veteran, has become one of the best defensive players in football in recent years. But the Penn State product has basketball experience, having played at the varsity level for Harrisburg (Pa.) High School.
Jewell Lloyd should also be one of the team's standouts. The 30-year-old is a five-time WNBA All-Star and averaged a career-high 24.7 points per game during the 2023 season. She spent her entire nine-year WNBA career with the Seattle Storm.
It makes sense that Connor Daly will be playing in this game for the first time in Indianapolis. The 32-year-old Noblesville, Indiana, native has competed in 108 IndyCar Series races. He finished eighth at the 2023 Indianapolis 500 and sixth at the 2022 event.

Like Team Shannon, Team Stephen A. only has one player with NBA All-Star Celebrity Game experience. Italian Olympic champion Gianmarco Tamberi has qualified for the 2022 Games in Cleveland.
The only participant with NBA experience is Metta World Peace (formerly Ron Artest). The 44-year-old played 17 seasons in the league from 1999 to 2017, was named an All-Star once, and won the NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2010.
He spent five seasons at Indiana and had his best season in 2003-04, earning his only All-Star selection and winning the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award.
It should be fun to watch CJ Stroud, who just came off an impressive first season in the NFL. The 22-year-old quarterback was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and earned a selection to the Pro Bowl.
Natasha Cloud, a 31-year-old former WNBA champion, is coming off her best season in the league. She averaged a career-high 12.7 points per game with the Washington Mystics during the 2023 season.
Tristan Jas and Jack Ryan could be players to watch on Team Stephen A. Both players have been showing off their basketball skills online and could have highlight-reel plays on the All-Star stage.
