INDIANAPOLIS — Several celebrities walked the red carpet in downtown Indianapolis ahead of Friday night's NBA Celebrity All-Star Game.
Some of the top celebrities who attended the festivities at Lucas Oil Stadium included WNBA All-Star and Seattle Storm guard Jewell Lloyd and ESPN's Stephen A. Smith. Both spoke with FOX59 and CBS4's Hannah Folman prior to the celebrity match.
Also participating in the contest were Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud, Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons, singer Walker Hayes, former Indiana Pacer Metta World Peace, and Phoenix. – Mercury guard Natasha Cloud, Los Angeles Rams wideout Puka Nacua, and musician Adam Blackstone.
Smith and former Super Bowl champion Shannon Sharpe (Smith and co-host of ESPN's “First Take”) served as coaches for the Celebrity All-Star Game. Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Lil Wayne and Las Vegas Aces center A'ja Wilson assisted Sharpe and Smith.
Team Shannon defeated Team Stephen A. 100-91 to win the match. Parsons finished with 37 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 steals and was named the game's MVP.
