(WHTM) — When you think of Pennsylvania, you might not think of many famous singers. But you would be very surprised to know that there are many singers born in the Commonwealth.
Here are some of the most popular singers from Pennsylvania, both living and deceased.
Joan Jett – Wynnewood
Joan Jett, best known for her work as the lead singer of the band Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, was born in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. This community is located west of Philadelphia and is located in both Montgomery and Deleware counties.
