Meanwhile, TV personality Piers Morgan managed to get hold of coveted tickets to the most popular show, as he took to social media to tweet at X, “Taylor the wait is over for both of us! #Swifty @taylorswift13.”
Standing tall in the stadium, dressed in a casual T-shirt and black trousers, the outspoken news anchor completed his stylish look with a pair of cool sunglasses. TV stars Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Andrew Scott were also in attendance.
One fan gushed about his excitement for X: “Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Andrew Scott are in the show tonight… I want to cry,” he wrote, along with three crying face emojis. At previous concerts, the VIP area has been filled with A-list celebrities from around the world. Tom Cruise was spotted exchanging friendship bracelets at the venue, and he wasn't the only one.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher were also there to watch her perform. In an unexpected move, Kelsey made an appearance onstage during Taylor's rendition of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.” The 34-year-old mingled with Taylor's dancers in a dramatic performance and appeared in a sleek tuxedo.
A stunned silence fell on Wembley Stadium, while thousands of screams sent shock waves across social media, with many flocking to “X,” the platform formerly known as Twitter, to share their mixed feelings of shock and excitement. “Less than 48 hours after making the shocking announcement on Instagram, Travis is carrying Taylor on stage at the ERAS tour,” posted one shocked fan.
Another follower commented: “Travis was on stage with Taylor Swift and I wasn't there so this is not ok,” while a third posted: “Travis walking on stage carrying Taylor OMG this is seriously making me cry,” while one audience member wrote: “Travis on stage and Tay Gracie singing 'Us' I'm sorry I have no idea. Is this real? How did this happen?”
Another person said: “In less than a year Travis went from not allowing Taylor to meet him backstage to performing with her on the same tour,” while another added: “So poetic and beautiful that Travis would pick up Taylor after the tiniest man ever.”
