Making his London Marathon debut is award-winning comedian and television presenter Romesh Ranganathan. He has been a patron of his Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) since October 2023 and will be working to support his mental health helpline charity in April this year.
Ranganathan had to say this. “If you had told me a few years ago that I would run a marathon, I would have said no chance – but CALM’s work is so important that I will run it.” Invest in Nipple Tape and I'm making a lifelong commitment to myself to run the London Marathon for them this April. ”

Actor Phil Dunster plays Jamie Tartt in the hit sports comedy-drama Ted Lasso He is set to run his first London Marathon for Young Lives and the Fight against Cancer to support a cause close to his heart. His cousin's son Rory was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of four months and the charity supported his family throughout Rory's illness. Youth cancer initiatives.

eastenders Actors Emma Barton and Jamie Borthwick will be running the London Marathon for the second time, and it's all part of their plans for this year. The pair will be staying on shift to take part as characters Honey and Jay in a special episode of the drama about running the 2024 London Marathon in memory of Jay's wife Laura, who died from a brain attack. The 2023 story features tumors.

Natalie Pinkham
Sky Sports F1 presenter and Flakstock co-founder Natalie Pinkham will run her first marathon for official charity Samaritans this year in memory of her friend Caroline Flack.
Pinkham said: “Samaritans is one of the charities we support with Flakstock and I love everything it stands for. I know what a difference the money raised will make and the lives saved. It's going to be a difficult challenge, but whenever I feel down, I think about Flaky and think a little deeper.”

The football manager, best known for his recent stint at Millwall, will lace up his trainers to represent London for a fourth time. Rowett describes marathons as “a great way to bring myself back to reality.” He ran the Rome Marathon in March, recording a time of 03:46:16. Will he be able to beat it in the British capital?

After opening up about his ulcerative colitis diagnosis during Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Week in December 2023, he said: The only way is Essex's Chloe Meadows will run a marathon in support of Crohn's and Colitis UK.
Six years after being diagnosed with colitis, Meadows is now raising awareness about the disease in the hopes of helping others seek medical advice.

Clarkson admits that between being a mom, being away, and contracting norovirus, she's had a hard time adjusting to training and is feeling a bit stressed about running. Admitted.

Joshua Patterson is no stranger to marathons, having broken the record by running one in 76 UK cities in 76 days, and most recently completing the LA Marathon. However, this Made in Chelsea The star athlete turned ultra athlete is running his first London Marathon for the Samaritans.
Patterson is running with her friend Millie Picks, who lost a leg in an accident. He said, “This is going to be an incredibly special marathon for me. It's going to be incredibly tough, but together we will cross the finish line.”

British racing driver Darren Turner has swapped his Aston Martin for a running trainer and is running in aid of cancer charity Hope for Tomorrow. We hope he can apply his racing track speed to London's roads.

Shane Williams
Former Welsh rugby legend and iron man Shane Williams knows a thing or two about the London Marathon course, having run it four times before. As always, he will be running for Berindre Cancer Center.
Jamie Peacock and Jamie Jones-Buchanan
Former rugby league players Jamie Peacock and Jamie Jones-Buchanan are trading scrums and runs to help grief charity Sue Ryder Care. Jamies has been running for a number of years since retiring from the rugby pitch and is set to set some impressive times in London.
Peacock recently completed the Seville Marathon in 3:29:12, and Jones-Buchanan is preparing to run two major marathons (London and Leeds) within a month.

Adele Roberts
Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts became the fastest woman to run the London Marathon wearing an ostomy bag with a time of 3:30:22. Just 18 months earlier, she had undergone her life-saving colon cancer surgery and was still recovering from the surgery. She also missed several weeks of training earlier this year due to the coronavirus.
At the finish line she said, “This is the best thing I've ever done.'' The crowd was amazing. The support didn't stop. When she was diagnosed with bowel cancer 18 months ago, she had it removed by the NHS and now has a stoma. And after 12 months of chemotherapy, I am a testament to the NHS, friends and family who got me through this. I never imagined that I would become a London Marathon runner. I'm so proud of my medal! My stoma is called Audrey and she ran very fast today and set her personal record! ”

TV personality Mark Wright ran his second London Marathon in a personal best of 03:36:53. He ran with his younger brother Josh.
At the finish line, he said: “This is my second London Marathon and I was striving for a better time, but to be honest today was much more difficult than last time.” Paula on keeping the pace I should have listened to Radcliffe's advice. Still, I beat the time. I'm here and I'm standing. I'm here today to encourage people to make healthy lifestyle choices. If you're walking with your child, take the stairs instead of the elevator or walk him an extra 1K. ”
Vassos Alexander
Radio presenter Vasos Alexander is no stranger to the London Marathon. He clocked an impressive time of 03:38:12 while running in his Minion costume.
He said this at the finish: “This is my third time running as a Minion, and I don't think there's a single kid between Greenwich and The Mall who hasn't high-fived this Minion.'' I love this city. Londoners come out even when it's raining. It is very fun! They say New York has a vibe, but forget that. London has it in spades!

Louise Minchin
BBC Breakfast presenter Louise Minchin, who ran with her daughter, clocked a time of 05:34:05. Last November, she started training from scratch with the Couch to 5K program after her knee surgery.
Afterwards, she said, “The London Marathon was really tough, but it was a great experience.'' I ran step by step with her daughter. This is her first marathon and I'm so happy to have been able to run it with her every step of the way. There were tears, but we all got through it together. I was running for Move, an organization that helps people return to exercise after cancer. Thank you to everyone who sponsored us. ”

Golden Globe-winning actor Josh O'Connor, who plays Prince Charles in the Netflix series The Crown, passed by his on-screen home, Buckingham Palace, on his way to clock 03:50:10.

The frontman of Grammy and Brit Award winning band Mumford & Sons crossed the finish line in 03:51:25.
He was running for the Grenfell Foundation, a charity supporting families and survivors of the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire.

Sophie Roworth
BBC Newsreader Sophie Raworth finished in 03:41:39. She had been plagued by injuries and had not been able to run properly for five weeks. “It's been really tough,” she said afterward, “and it never gets easier.” It was her 11th London marathon, and her 19th marathon. I had some calf issues and pushed myself a little too hard. But I'm so glad I was able to overcome that. ”

If you're a fan of Chris Evans' “Breakfast” show, you'll know how much the radio host loves running marathons, especially those in London. This year he completed his ninth London Marathon in 4 hours, 43 minutes and 51 seconds. “I think we should do this twice a year, but it would be great to do it again in the spring,” he said afterward. “I had a little left in the end, but I felt good.”
