AUGUSTA, Ga. — Hello and Happy Masters Sunday!
I've had a great week watching golf here at Augusta National, and I'm definitely not alone in that. Among the regular guests this week are several celebrities who have been here. This is a (mostly) discreet place for them, as cameras are not allowed from Wednesday onwards. (I've found that many fans leave celebrities alone if they don't have a chance to take a photo with them.) With the help of social media, my colleagues and I discovered the players we spotted at the Masters this week. We have created an updated list of. We were able to add a few more names to the media post. So let's get started.
Kirk Cousins and George Kittle attended the Masters with their wives earlier this week, with Augusta National member Peyton Manning and his wife Ashley showing them around. Luckily, I have some photographic evidence of that day.
I noticed a change in clothing here. That means Cousins had not one, but two great days at the Masters.
And for all the ladies reading, Julie Cousins is wearing the short sleeve Hayden dress from Birdie Golf Social Wear, which was a big hit with patrons this week.
Now, let's get back to talking about celebrities.
While on the course, Cousins also participated in the official Masters podcast.
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff then joined ESPN's Marty Smith for a quick conversation.
Retired professional soccer player Miguel Layun also brought his talents to the Masters this week.
I like that he sampled the Masters concession menu, but I'm a little concerned that he didn't mention the bar BBQ sandwich. It's been my regular lunch menu since Monday and I'm still not tired of it.
Retired NBA star turned college golfer J.R. Smith was playing with Stephen and Eric Malbon of Malbon Golf at Augusta National on Friday.
Avid golfer and former NFL player Larry Fitzgerald was also seen relaxing by the oak tree earlier this week.
Other notable athletes we discovered this week include former MLB star David Wright, former NBA star Dwyane Wade, NFL running back Bijan Robinson, former MLB pitcher CC Sabathia, and more.
Now let's get into the Hollywood celebrity part of this article. The Athletic's Gabby Herzig gave us a complete look at what singer Harry Styles was up to on Thursday.
Congratulations to Gabby on meeting her One Direction heroes, and congratulations to all the celebrities and athletes who know the Masters is the perfect place to spend the day in April.
