FALMOUTH, Maine — Organizers announced Thursday the celebrity lineup for the second annual Drive for Kids Celebrity Golf Invitational, scheduled for June, at Luke's Lobster.
The lineup includes over 30 celebrities from the sports and entertainment worlds.
As part of the announcement, the Dempsey Center and Barbara Bush Children's Hospital were also declared co-beneficiaries of the tournament, Shamrock Sports & Entertainment said in a news release.
“Our inaugural tournament was a huge success,” Brian Corcoran, executive director of the Drive for Kids Tournament and CEO of Shamrock Sports & Entertainment, said in a release. We'll be back even bigger and better in 2024.” “With the help of an exciting lineup of new and returning celebrities, we will surpass last year's $111,000 philanthropic impact and support not only Barbara Bush Children's Hospital, but comprehensive services for people with disabilities. We want to support the Dempsey Center, which serves cancer patients and their families.”
Corcoran said the goal is to raise $100,000 for each charity.
“We are extremely grateful to the Drive Fore Kids organizers for including the Dempsey Center in this exciting tournament,” said Carla Valentino, CEO and President of the Dempsey Center. “Their support will enable us to continue to provide selected, comprehensive care to people living with cancer, all free of charge.”

The tournament will be held June 20-23 on the fairways of Falmouth Country Club and has a total prize pool of $265,000.
Here are the celebrities expected to compete in the tournament:
- wells adams – TV personality on “Bachelor in Paradise,” host of Hulu’s “Best in Dough” and host of the podcast “Your Favorite Thing.”
- Robbie Amel – Television and film actor known for his roles on “The Babysitter,'' “The Flash,'' Amazon Prime's “Upload,'' and the Teen Choice Award-nominated “The Duff.''
- Ronde Barber Shop – Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback, 5-time Pro Bowl player, Super Bowl champion, 2023 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee
- Jerome Bettis – NFL Hall of Famer, former Pittsburgh Steelers running back, 2006 Super Bowl champion
- clay buchholz – Former Red Sox pitcher, two-time American League All-Star and two-time World Series champion with the Red Sox
- Tom Caron – NESN Red Sox announcer for over 20 years, Lewiston, Maine native, Maine Sports Hall of Fame member
- Roger Clemens – 11-time MLB All-Star, 2-time World Series champion, 7-time Cy Young Award winner
- vinny del negro – The Springfield, Massachusetts native and former NBA player and coach for the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers won the 2021 American Century Championship.
- Patrick Dempsey – Actor, racing driver. He is best known for his role as “McDreamy” on Grey's Anatomy.
- marshall folk – Widely regarded as one of the greatest running backs of all time, he is an NFL Rookie of the Year, NFL MVP, three-time NFL Offensive Player of the Year, seven-time Pro Bowler, and a member of both the Pro Football and College Football Halls of Fame.
- Mardy Fish – 2004 Olympic tennis silver medalist, 6 career titles, also played in PGA Tour events
- doug flutie – The Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback from Boston College had a 21-year pro career and is a local legend for his Hail Mary victory over Miami.
- Dwight Freeney – 2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee, former All-Pro defensive end and outside linebacker, Super Bowl Champion
- michael goulian – American aerobatic champion aviator who competed in the Red Bull Air Race World Series with number 99
- matt hamilton – U.S. Men's Olympic Curler, Competing in 2018 and 2022 Olympic Games, 2018 Olympic Gold Medalist
- Ben Higgins – Season 20 of ABC's The Bachelor, co-founder of Generous Coffee Co., host of the podcast Almost Famous
- Brock Holt – Retired MLB second baseman, played seven seasons with the Boston Red Sox, World Series Champion, American League All-Star
- Noel Lambert – American Paralympic track and field athlete who holds the U.S. record for the 100 meters. “Survivor 43” contestants
- Derek Lowe – Won the 2004 World Series with the Boston Red Sox and was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame.
- kevin miller – Boston Red Sox World Series Champion, host of MLB Network's “Intentional Talk”
- Alexandra O'Loughlin – Golf and travel correspondent known for roles on NBC Golf Channel and FOX Sports, founder of Golf Global Media
- Blair O'Neill – Retired LPGA professional, winner of Golf Channel's “Big Break” and former host of “Morning Drive.” Currently enrolled in “School of Golf”
- TJ Oshie – Played 18 seasons in the NHL, currently with the Washington Capitals and formerly with the St. Louis Blues, and won a Stanley Cup
- chad pfeiffer – A U.S. Army veteran learned to play golf while rehabilitating at a military hospital. He won the 2011 U.S. Amputee Golf Championship and won the Warrior Open Championship three times.
- tukka rusk – Spent 15 seasons as goalie for the Boston Bruins.Including Stanley Cup winner, Vezina Trophy winner, Olympic bronze medalist (Finland)
- Jeremy Roenick – Member of NHL's 500-goal club, nine-time NHL All-Star, 2002 Olympic silver medalist
- Ronnie Russell – 6-time PBA tournament champion, 24th PBA televised perfect game, 2-time Team USA appearance
- sterling sharp – Three-time NFL First Team All-Pro, five-time Pro Bowl Wide Receiver, member of the Green Bay Packers and College Football Hall of Famer
- harrison smith – Minnesota Vikings NFL safety, 6-time Pro Bowl player, 2-time All-Pro
- Jeremy Swayman – The current Boston Bruins goaltender will have a .920 save percentage in the 2022-23 season and played three years of collegiate hockey at the University of Maine.
- katherine tappen – NBC Sports' sportscaster for Notre Dame football, “Football Night in America,” golf and Summer/Winter Olympics coverage was previously at NESN and NHL Network.
- Sean Thornton – Former Boston Bruins, 2-time Stanley Cup Champion, current Florida Panthers CRO
- taylor twellman – Five-time MLS All-Star, MLS MVP, 30 caps for the U.S. National Team, and color commentator for Apple TV (formerly ABC/ESPN)
- brian urlacher – Former NFL linebacker. He spent his entire 13-year career with the Chicago Bears and is a member of the NFL Hall of Fame.
- mike vrabel – New England Patriots Hall of Famer, 3-time Super Bowl Champion, member of Patriots 50th Anniversary Team, All-Dynasty Team, All-2000s Team, former Tennessee Titans Head Coach
- jack wagner – Actor who has appeared in many TV movies and soap operas, including “The Wedding March Series,” “When Calls the Heart,” “Falling for Christmas,” and “General Hospital.”
- david wells – MLB All-Star pitcher, two-time World Series Champion, played for nine different MLB teams including the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.
