We’re breaking down all the celebrity breakups of 2024 and what caused these famous couples to part ways.
If we look back at all the celebrity news of 2023, there’s one major theme that never seemed to leave the news cycle: celebrity breakups. From celebrity divorces we never saw coming, like Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth and Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Jackman, to other splits that took us totally by surprise, like Lupita Nyong’o and Selema Masekela and Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro, celebrities were breaking things off left and right last year.
And while many of us continue to work through some of these splits (we counted at least 70 of them!), 2024 is already another year of celebrity splits. Days into the new year, we got news of two celebrity divorces when AJ McLean announced he and his wife Rochelle were ending their 11 year marriage shortly before former The Bachelorette stars Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo also filed for divorce.
But the stars didn’t stop there and since then several more split — in relationships long and short — have been revealed.
To find out more about their split, and the many more celebrity splits to come, scroll below!
